Singer Yuridia, one of the most outstanding voices of contemporary regional Mexican music, decided to put an end to the rumors that arose after the release of the solo version of her hit “Qué Agonía”, a song she originally performed with Ángela Aguilar.
Through her Instagram stories, Yuridia spoke directly to her followers to clear up misunderstandings and set a firm stance against hate on social networks.
The premiere of the new version of “Qué Agonía” was received with enthusiasm by Yuridia’s fans, who celebrated having a solo interpretation of one of the Sonoran artist’s biggest hits.
However, the launch also generated speculation about an alleged rift between Yuridia and Ángela Aguilar, who is currently facing criticism on social networks for personal issues.
Far from fueling the controversy, Yuridia took the opportunity to deny the rumors and defend her colleague.
“I just want to reply to some things that I don’t like. They are using my social networks and they are trying to get me to hate Ángela Aguilar. Neta, don’t use me to throw hate at anyone, I don’t like that,” said the singer of “Ya Te Olvidé”.
Yuridia clarifies: she did not exclude Ángela Aguilar

The artist made it clear that Ángela Aguilar was not excluded from the song and that her decision to release the solo version responds to the fact that, during most of her tour, she performs the song without a guest.
“The first thing I want to tell you is that I did not take Angela Aguilar out of ‘Qué Agonía’. That song is her song and she is welcome to sing it with me or without me. Whenever she wants, she can do whatever she wants,” stated Yuridia.
With these words, the Sonoran singer wanted to put an end to the rumors of rivalry between the two artists and emphasize the respect she feels for Pepe Aguilar’s young daughter.
In addition to clarifying the situation, Yuridia took the opportunity to reflect on the way in which fans express their disagreements with artists.
“If you want to send a message to an artist, the best thing to do is to stop listening to that artist. To go on social networks and throw hate just for the sake of doing it, because everyone else is already doing it, seems too much to me,” he said frankly.
The interpreter made it clear that, although she respects the opinion of her followers, she considers that digital harassment is not a valid way to express disagreements.
Yuridia ended her message by reminding her fans that she does not intend to tell them what to do, but she did ask for respect towards other artists, even when their personal or professional decisions are not to everyone’s liking.
Her statement not only helped to curb speculation about a rift with Ángela Aguilar, but also sent a message of empathy and sisterhood, underscoring the importance of maintaining a healthier environment on social networks.
Originally released as a duet with Angela Aguilar, “Qué Agonía” became one of Yuridia’s most successful songs in recent years, racking up millions of plays on digital platforms and cementing her place as one of the most beloved regional Mexican artists.
With the new solo version, the singer reaffirms her connection with her audience, demonstrating that music remains at the center of her career and that, despite the controversies, she is committed to art and mutual respect.
