FIFA published its 2025 Team Rankings, one of the most widely followed rankings by fans, analysts and soccer communities around the world, especially among Hispanics living in the United States, where international soccer is growing in importance.
In this update, Spain remains the number one team in the world, topping a list that evaluates the performance of 210 national teams. The Spanish team has 1877.18 points, which places it above Argentina (1873.33) and France (1870), two historic powers in world soccer. The FIFA Ranking system is based on official results, competitive matches and international friendlies, also considering the quality of the opponent and the importance of each match. Therefore, staying at the top reflects consistency and a high competitive level.
Where did Mexico come in?

The Mexican National Soccer Team is ranked 15th in the FIFA 2025 Ranking, with 1675.75 points.
It ranks below the United States (14) and above Uruguay (16).
This place confirms that Mexico remains one of the strongest teams in CONCACAF, although there is still room for improvement against the European and South American powers.
For the millions of Mexican and Latino fans in the U.S., this FIFA ranking is a key reference for future international competitions.
