The U.S. State Department is preparing new passport designs to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the country’s independence, with a limited edition that will include the image of President Donald Trump, Fox reported Tuesday.
According to mock-ups obtained by the media outlet, Trump’s face appears framed by the Declaration of Independence and the American flag on the inside cover of the passport, along with his signature in gold color, while another page shows the Founding Fathers signing the declaration.

The launch is scheduled for this summer as part of the campaign to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the American country’s independence.
Passports will be available at the Washington Passport Agency for any U.S. citizen applying for a new passport, subject to availability, according to the Fox News release.
“The State Department is preparing to release a limited number of specially designed U.S. passports to commemorate this historic occasion,” State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott told Fox.
The back cover of these passports will bear a U.S. flag with the number 20 centered between the 13 stars that appeared on the 1777 version.
And although they incorporate new illustrations, the documents will maintain “the same security features,” according to the source (Filed as: Trump passports United States).

In the same vein, the Treasury Department reported last March that the President’s signature will also be included on future dollar bills.
This is the first time that the mark of a sitting president has appeared on them.
According to the Treasury, the measure seeks to recognize the president’s “economic achievements” and the bills with his signature will be put into circulation before July 4.

On March 19, a federal art committee approved a coin design with the figure of the president resting his fists on a desk.
Based on a photograph taken by his team in 2025 and on display at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington.
But Trump’s image does not only extend to banknotes and passports.
But it now reaches many corners of Washington, where huge photographs of the president cover the facades of several buildings in the capital (Filed under: Trump passports United States).
