The impact of this group does not end at the 2026 NFL Draft.

Projections indicate that more than 40 players with Latino roots could be part of active rosters by the start of the 2026 season.

This growth is a result of the development of university programs, academies and communities that have boosted the access of Latino athletes to high-level American soccer.

The 2026 edition of the NFL Draft not only stood out for the names selected, but for what they represent.

Having a Latino as a first overall selection sends a clear message about the evolution of the league.

Today, Latino talent not only participates: It competes, excels and begins to lead within the NFL.
