Mexico’ s Gloria Trevi and Spain’s Lola Indigo have joined the list of honorees for the Billboard Latin Women in Music special to be held in Miami on April 23, Telemundo and Billboard announced Monday.
Both networks had already informed that the tribute also includes Becky G, Ivy Queen, Joy, Julieta Venegas and Young Miko.

The event recognizes women who are leading and transforming Latin music, bringing together artists from different generations for a night of performances and recognition.
Trevi will receive the “Lifetime Achievement Award” in recognition of a decades-long career marked by international success, worldwide touring and a sustained influence on Latin music.
Lola Indigo will be honored with the ‘Evolution Award’, which recognizes artists in constant growth and creative reinvention. After her participation in the program ‘Operación Triunfo’, she has positioned herself as one of the most relevant figures of Spanish pop.

Meanwhile, singer and businesswoman Chiquis, winner of three Latin Grammy awards and a regional Mexican music star, will host the special, reported Agencia EFE.
