Colombian singer Maluma will give a free concert at Plaza Botero in his native Medellin to present his new album, ‘Loco x Volver’, which will be released this Thursday to coincide with the show, which is already sold out.
Through clues on social networks, the artist has been revealing details of the musical work, which includes possible collaborations and fragments of songs.
For the May 14 concert, several surprise artists have also been announced to accompany him on stage.

“Maluma is Juan Luis again. After two years of process, of searching for himself, of missing his roots and reconnecting with what he really is, ‘Loco x Volver’ is born. An album made from love, from the truth and above all thinking of you,” says a publication on Instagram of the singer, whose given name is Juan Luis Londoño.
In another message, the artist added: “None of this would make sense without the people who have always been there. Thank you for listening, for staying, for believing”.
The tracks shared by the reguetonero allow us to anticipate that the album will have at least thirteen songs.
One of the most recent publications shows an image with the message “Welcome to Barranquilla”, which has sparked speculation among his followers about a possible collaboration with Shakira, with whom he already released in 2016 the hit ‘Chantaje’.
The album comes after the ‘La +Pretty +Dirty World Tour’, which began in March 2025 in Europe and continued through Latin America, with performances in countries such as Mexico, Colombia and El Salvador, in a show that included 360-degree formats in some cities.
Loco x Volver’ will be Maluma’s first solo album since ‘Don Juan’ (2023), a work inspired by entertainment figures such as Batman, Hugh Hefner and James Bond.
Prior to that, the artist released with Blessd the collaborative album ‘1 Of 1’ (2024), focused on the urban genre and the experiences of Colombian neighborhoods.

The 32-year-old singer also recently announced that he will become a father again and has just participated in his fourth Met Gala.
This is not the first time that urban artists present their new works for free in Medellín.
In 2024, reported Agencia EFE, Maluma launched ‘1 Of 1’ with Blessd at a massive event at the Carlos Vieco Open Air Theater, while last October, Feid presented his single ‘Monstruo’, together with Puerto Rican producer Tainy, at a free concert in front of the Palace of Culture, also in Plaza Botero.
