The president of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Salvador Illa, posted this Monday on his Instagram profile a selfie with Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny at the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.
“Thank you for choosing Barcelona to start the I should have shot more World Tour photos in Europe,” Illa said in his message on the social network.
Bad Bunny performed at the Olympic Stadium in Barcelona last Friday and Saturday, before giving two concerts in Lisbon and the ten concerts scheduled in Madrid, as part of his European tour.
Sources of the presidency, who did not specify when this photo was taken, explained that Bad Bunny wanted to visit the Sagrada Familia and that there he “met” Illa.
According to Agencia EFE, the Sagrada Familia will be one of the sites of a visit to Barcelona by Pope Leo XIV, who will come to the basilica to take part in a ceremony to commemorate the centenary of the death of Antoni Gaudí and to bless the Tower of Jesus Christ on June 10.
