The Joga Bonito already has its numbers ready to conquer North America. The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced this Saturday the official numbering of the 26 chosen by Carlo Ancelotti.
In a video that makes your skin crawl with the phrase “Every Brazilian is born heir to the greatest reign of soccer”, it was clear that this team is not coming to take a stroll: it is coming to claim its crown. Here is the list of Brazil’s numbers for the 2026 World Cup.

The big news is the consolidation of Vinícius Jr., who will wear the number 7 jersey, assuming the role of absolute protagonist in Ancelotti’s scheme.
For his part, Neymar Jr. will wear the mythical 10, despite being in recovery from a calf injury.
With this, the Santos star equals Pelé’s record of wearing soccer’s most sacred number in four consecutive World Cups (2014, 2018, 2022 and 2026).

Matheus Cunha, who inherits the number 9 from Ronaldo Fenômeno, will carry the weight in the penalty area, while Real Madrid gem Endrick will wear the number 19 for his World Cup debut.
Carletto’s trusted backbone remains firm: Marquinhos with the 4 and Casemiro with the 5.
Brazil is already warming up and this Sunday will have its first test at the Maracana against Panama, before traveling to Cleveland to face Egypt.
The mission is clear: to be at full strength for the June 13 opener against Morocco in New Jersey.

Brazil unleashed its B team and overwhelmed Panama 6-2 on Sunday, which only held out for the first half at a Maracana where Vinicius starred with a goal and an assist in the Canarinha’s last friendly before heading to the 2026 World Cup.
The Real Madrid striker sweetened a discreet first half in which the Central American team, which will play in the second World Cup in its history, equalized the opening goal of the 7th from a free kick by Amir Murillo.
Casemiro, on a pass from Vini, put the Brazilians back in front before the break.
However, it was in the second half, with a virtually new eleven, that Carlo Ancelotti’s team went on a rampage with three goals in ten minutes from Rayan, Lucas Paqueta and Igor Thiago.
The icing on the cake was Danilo Santos. Carlos Harvey scored the second for the Panamanians with everything decided.
