Mexican actress Sandra Echeverría publicly denounced having been the victim of an alleged financial fraud that would have put her patrimony and that of more than a thousand people at risk. In his message, Echeverría explained that he decided to invest his resources in a company identified as Meta Exchange Capital. He explained that the firm offered yields considerably higher than those normally offered by traditional banking institutions, which represented an attractive opportunity for those seeking to grow their capital.
However, the situation changed as time went by. According to the actress, for more than 18 months neither she nor the rest of the investors have received any profits or the return of the money initially contributed. The lack of clear answers and the repeated non-compliance with payments set off alarm bells among those affected.
“They took away our patrimony,” she expressed visibly affected, underlining the magnitude of the economic and emotional damage that this situation has caused.
