Mexican singer Alejandra Guzman, known as La Reina de Corazones, reappeared on social networks to share with her followers an update on her health after undergoing a delicate emergency surgery on her spine.
The 56-year-old singer expressed her deep gratitude for all the expressions of affection she has received since the news of her surgery was announced.
In a message posted on her official platforms, the artist expressed with obvious emotion: “This is the best stage of my healing. This is the end of so much, so much that I have gone through in these thirteen years”.
With these words, Alejandra hinted that the medical procedure represents an important closure in a long and complex health process that she has been facing for more than a decade.
During her publication, the singer of hits such as Yo te esperaba, Eternamente bella and Hacer el amor con otro took the opportunity to thank her audience for their constant support over the years.

The photographs show the titanium pieces that were placed during the operation. Next to them, Guzmán commented:

Alejandra Guzman: The background of her health problems
Alejandra Guzman’s medical situation has been widely known for years. Her complications date back to 2009, when she underwent a cosmetic procedure on her buttocks during which she was injected with biopolymers, a substance that ended up causing serious tissue damage and a series of infections and ailments that affected her hip and spine.
As a result of these complications, the singer underwent multiple surgeries. In 2016, she received two titanium hip prostheses to correct the damage caused by the material that had been injected into her. Two years later, in 2018, she suffered a fracture in the same area, which aggravated her condition again and forced her to remain under prolonged medical treatment.
In 2020, she was hospitalized again due to a bacterial infection derived from the same sequelae. Since then, her health condition has required constant monitoring and the performance of MRI scans and specialized treatments.
It was journalist Pati Chapoy who publicly announced the news of Guzmán’s new surgery on October 8, during the broadcast of the program Ventaneando. As she explained, the artist had undergone emergency surgery for chronic hip and spine problems, a situation that required immediate attention.
Although the singer has not detailed the medical diagnosis or the exact nature of the procedure, the images she shared suggest that new titanium pieces were placed in her spine, possibly as part of a structural reconstruction or stabilization.
So far, no official medical report has been issued and no further statements have been made by her work team. However, Guzmán herself has assured that she is stable, in the process of recovery and with a positive attitude towards this stage of her life.
