Actress Angelina Jolie put her residence in Los Angeles, California, up for sale for $29.85 million.
The property, announced by the firm Sotheby’s International Realty, belonged to film producer and director Cecil B. DeMille and stands out for its historical value.
The extension is located on an 8,093-square-foot lot and features six bedrooms, ten full bathrooms, 1,021.93 square feet of living space and boasts panoramic views of the Hollywood Hills and Griffith Observatory.

The 1913 house was designed by architect B. Cooper Corbett, known for his innovative use of concrete at the time and for his work on luxury residences, and purchased by DeMille in 1916.
Angelina Jolie wants almost $30 million for her mansion
The producer of films such as ‘Sunset Boulevard’ and ‘Samson and Delilah’ expanded his domain with the neighboring residence, the former home of Charlie Chaplin, in 1920.
According to real estate agency information the DeMille family retained the property until the late 1980s.
Jolie bought the residence in 2017, after divorcing Brad Pitt, for $24.5 million, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The sale coincides with the year her twins, whom she shares with Pitt, came of age.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in 2024, the actress said that, once that happens, she will be ready to live abroad, as she was in Los Angeles only for issues related to her divorce, reported Agencia EFE.
