The British band has not only filled stadiums with its innovative staging, but has also managed to connect with several generations thanks to global tours such as A Head Full of Dreams Tour and Music of the Spheres World Tour. In second place comes U2, with 20.2 million tickets, reaffirming their status as one of the most influential and successful bands in concert history. The podium is completed by Ed Sheeran, who has sold 19.6 million tickets, highlighted by record-breaking tours such as ÷ Tour, one of the highest-grossing of all time.

The Top 5 also includes the Dave Matthews Band, with almost 19.6 million, andTaylor Swift, the only woman in that top group.

Swift has sold nearly 18.9 million tickets and grossed more than $3.1 billion since 2001.

His Eras Tour marked a before and after by becoming the first tour in history to exceed $1 billion in 2023.

And subsequently reach 2.2 billion, the highest record on record until 2025.

Pollstar’s ranking also includes legends such as Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Metallica, Bon Jovi and Elton John.

In addition to contemporary artists such as Beyoncé, who occupies the 13th position, and P!nk, in the 11th position.

In total, only four women appear in the top 25: P!nk, Beyoncé, Madonna and Taylor Swift.

The list is based on reported and estimated box office data between 2001 and 2025.

Pollstar clarifies that, although the number of tickets sold is the central metric, this does not always match total revenues, as costs and prices vary by region and production.
