Los Angeles police arrested Los Angeles rapper D4vd in connection with the death of a teenage Hispanic girl whose badly decomposed body was found months ago in the trunk of a Tesla vehicle registered in his name.
The artist, whose real name is David Burke, is being held without bail and his case will be presented to the prosecutor’s office next Monday, according to a police statement, which did not specify for the moment the evidence that led to his arrest.

That it had been parked for weeks on public streets before being towed to a Los Angeles impound yard without being reported stolen.
Authorities identified the victim as Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who was 13 years old when she was reported missing in 2024 in Lake Elsinore, California.
And whose body was found on September 8, one day after what would have been her fifteenth birthday.
The singer has collaborated with musicians such as Kali Uchis, Laufey and 21 Savage and several of the artist’s songs have entered the Billboard charts.
