Dorismar, model, actress and former collaborator of El Gordo y la Flaca , is currently going through a complicated stage after undergoing cosmetic surgery on her nose, which, according to published reports, presented serious complications. The 50-year-old Argentinean artist has shared with her followers part of her recovery process through social networks, where she showed that a third surgery did not have the expected result and resulted in a major health problem.
Dorismar began her modeling career in Argentina at the age of 17. In 2000, she moved to Miami, where she established herself as a well-known figure in Latin entertainment. She joined Univision as a collaborator in El Gordo y la Flaca and was the main host of the show Caliente until 2006. That same year, her stay in the United States was interrupted when she was deported for exceeding the time allowed under the Waiver program.
During her time in Miami, she achieved great popularity, starred on the covers of magazines such as Playboy in 2003 and launched successful annual calendars, which positioned her as one of the most recognized Latin models of the moment.
Stage in Mexico and artistic diversification
In 2007, Dorismar arrived in Mexico and joined Televisa, participating in programs such as La Parodia and Desmadruga2, where she presented sections such as Tu fantasía con Dorismar until 2010. At the same time, she ventured into acting with telenovelas such as Alma de Hierro (2009) and Triunfo del Amor ( 2010-2011), in addition to appearances in La Familia P. Luche. She also posed for Mexican editions of Playboy (2007) and H para Hombres ( 2009), and released a musical album recorded in Los Angeles.
Dorismar: Medical malpractice allegations
According to information published by TV Notas magazine, Dorismar had undergone several nose reconstructive surgeries in recent years with Dr. José Achar. According to this report, after being dissatisfied with the first intervention, she underwent a second surgery in which the doctor would have excessively filed the septum, leaving it small and curved, in addition to placing an artificial implant without prior authorization. Said implant would have been rejected by the organism, generating pus and infections that, presumably, were minimized.
According to this version, despite following the medical indications and the indicated rehabilitation, the nasal septum collapsed, leaving her with respiratory problems and visible sequelae. In 2024, the doctor reportedly tried to correct the damage with a third surgery and a different implant, but the result was not favorable either.
Faced with this situation, Dorismar traveled to Bogotá, Colombia, to receive specialized medical attention. Through a video published on social networks, she showed the first day of her recovery and expressed optimism. “After going through a malpractice, I traveled and I am in Colombia today. I came to have surgery with an eminent doctor and I am getting very good results”, she said, visibly with difficulty in breathing, but hopeful of a positive evolution.
The model continues in rehab, focused on her recovery and leaving behind one of the most difficult stages of her recent life.
