The 2025 Club World Cup will mark a before and after in the history of international soccer. For the first time, the tournament will have 32 teams and will be played in a format similar to the World Cup. The venue chosen for this historic debut is the United States, and the tournament will be played from June 14 to July 13.
This tournament replaces the previous format known as the “Club World Cup” and will now be held every four years, alternating with the FIFA World Cup. The 2025 edition not only brings together the best teams from each confederation, but also promises an unprecedented experience for the U.S. Hispanic community.
Opening game
The first match of the 2025 Club World Cup will be played on June 14 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami will face Egypt’s Al Ahly.
The U.S. team received a direct invitation as the host club of the tournament.
Group A also includes Palmeiras of Brazil and FC Porto of Portugal.

Starting on June 28, the top two teams from each group (16 in total) advance to the round of 16.
