It has been six years since one of the most painful losses faced by the family of actor Ferdinando Valencia and his wife, actress and model Brenda Kellerman.
On August 3, 2019, the couple lost their little Dante, one of their twin sons, after a long battle with bacterial meningitis that kept him hospitalized for more than 90 days.
Since then, their life has changed forever. However, in the midst of remembrance and grief, the couple has found new hope: they are expecting another baby.
The star of telenovelas such as La tempestad and Qué pobres tan ricos shared the news through his Instagram account, where he posted a deeply emotional video. In it, he recalled the death anniversary of his son Dante, but also recounted how, this year, that date was accompanied by an unexpected event full of spiritual meaning.
“Every year, especially with the date of Dante’s anniversary, the days are usually very difficult. This year I thought it was not going to be the exception, but something happened that, for us, is a great proof that love is greater than any loss,” said the actor.
She said that one night before the anniversary she dreamt of her son, something that had not happened to her since her departure. In that dream, she felt that Dante was sending her a message and even an instruction, which she decided to follow “to the letter”.
“The best part of it all was that, even though I couldn’t sleep that night, I recorded everything. We have generated a video where the evidence is present,” he added with emotion.

Ferdinando explained that his desire to share the story with his followers is due to the special connection he feels with them, whom he calls his “second family”. In the video’s description, he wrote: “Our most awaited rainbow. Today, after six years of this long road, destiny and our little angel give us, from heaven, a new opportunity”.
On the YouTube channel they both maintain, “Famigovios”, Brenda and Ferdinando narrated in detail how the moment they discovered the news happened. On August 3 – precisely the anniversary of Dante’s death – Ferdinando noticed that Brenda had missed her period and remembered the dream with his son. Driven by intuition, he went to a pharmacy to buy a pregnancy test without telling his partner.
When Brenda took the test, the result was positive. Both were deeply moved and burst into tears. “We didn’t want to get our hopes up yet,” the actor recounted, “but we felt this was a sign from our son.”
In his message, Ferdinando stressed that this new pregnancy does not mean forgetting the pain of the past, but transforming it into gratitude and hope.
“Today, fear has been replaced by gratitude. This baby does not erase the pain of losing our beloved child Dante, but it is proof that his love is an eternal energy that continues to protect us,” she said.
The couple also recalled how their son Tadeo, Dante’s twin, has become their main driving force. The little boy turned six years old last April 24, and his arrival was decisive for both of them to find strength after the tragedy.
Since the birth and subsequent loss of Dante, Ferdinando and Brenda have been open with their public about their grieving process. Through their social networks, they have shared reflections on parenthood, faith and emotional resilience, inspiring thousands of families who have gone through similar situations.
