This Monday, August 11, 2025, Andrea Meza, former Miss Universe 2020, was announced as the new host of La Mesa Caliente, Telemundo’s afternoon show.

In an interview with People en Español, Andrea shared her emotions after her incorporation:
“It obviously makes me nostalgic to close this stage, but it also gives me hope for all that is to come. Hoy Día was my home for almost three years, a place where I grew a lot, learned from great professionals, built friendships for life…”, he explained.
His decision is read as being motivated by a process of reflection and personal evaluation: “At first I didn’t know what decision to make, but after analyzing it, I thought it was the right step in my career”.
