Miami Police arrested a 42-year-old man accused of threatening on Instagram to kill artist Lady Gaga and “as many people as possible” before taking his own life.
Marc Harold Leverant appeared in a Florida City court Thursday and faces a second-degree felony charge of written threats of death or bodily injury, Judge Mindy S.Glazer announced.
In addition to the messages against the singer, Leverant also made threats against the Miami Fire Department, Miami Dade College, Miami Worldcenter and theater producer David Geffen.

The man was arrested Wednesday in downtown Miami after the Miami-Dade County Real-Time Crime Operations Center alerted police to Leverant’s postings, according to local media outlet 7 News Miami.
However, the Police did not disclose the content of the messages.
The judge imposed a bail of US$7,500 on Leverant, reported Agencia EFE, in addition to a ban on possessing firearms or ammunition.
