NASCAR Mexico City Weekend kicks off with Daniel Suárez in the spotlight

Everything is ready for NASCAR Mexico City Weekend, the most anticipated motorsports event in Mexico during 2025. For the first time, the NASCAR Cup Series will hold a qualifying race outside the United States, and it will be held at the emblematic Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, June 13-15.

This historic event is a milestone for both NASCAR and motorsports in Latin America, and its central figure is Mexican driver Daniel Suárez, the only national representative in the star category.

On April 15, Daniel Suárez held a press conference to reveal the car he will use in this crucial event:

The Trackhouse Racing team’s #99 Chevrolet ZL1 in a white and blue redesign sponsored by Freeway Insurance.

“This is a moment I’ve dreamed of for years. We will finally run an official NASCAR race in Mexico.”

“There are no words to describe what this means to me and to my people,” said the excited driver from Monterrey.

The NASCAR Mexico City Weekend will offer three days of high-level competition.

It will feature international stars such as Kyle Larson, Joey Logano, Ryan Blaney and Ross Chastain.

In addition to the NASCAR Cup Series, fans will be able to enjoy NASCAR Xfinity Series races.
