Mexican driver Xavi Razo won his first victory of the 2025 season in the third date of the NASCAR Mexico Series, held on April 13 at the Autodromo Miguel E. Abed, located in Amozoc, Puebla. With this performance, Xavi Razo not only demonstrated strength and dominance on the track, but also remains as championship leader and mathematically assures his qualification to the playoffs.
After starting from third on the grid, the driver of the No. 7 Prime Sports Chevrolet drove a strategic and aggressive race. He took advantage of a series of incidents in the middle of the field to position himself among the leaders from the first laps. With 30 laps to go, he took the lead and never relinquished it. With a lead of more than three seconds over his closest pursuer, Alex de Alba (Aga Racing Team), Xavi Razo crossed the finish line as the winner. In third place was the young talent Eloy Sebastian, who continues to consolidate his position as a promising Mexican driver.
Supporting the event

The race in Puebla was the first of three that will be run this year at the same racetrack.
The event was attended by the Governor of the State, Alejandro Armenta, and Gabriela “La Bonita” Sanchez, head of the Secretariat of Sports and Youth.
Both highlighted the importance of motor racing as an economic and sports engine for the region.
De la Parra shines

In the Challenge division, Jorge de la Parra, from the capital city, also shined with a resounding victory.
Starting from second position, the driver took the lead in the second half of the race and held it until the end, earning a place in the playoffs.
The podium in this category was completed by Giancarlo Vecchi -who had won the first date in San Luis Potosí- and Helio Meza, who managed to climb up positions in a demanding circuit such as the Miguel E. Abed.
