Natti Natasha prepares tribute at the Premios Juventud

Popular singer Natti Natasha and a series of artists paying tribute to Panama will inaugurate the 22nd annual Premios Juventud, to be held for the first time in the Central American country on September 25.

The Dominican artist, the Panamanians Boza, Nando Boom, Los Rabanes, Samy & Sandra Sandoval and Sech, the Puerto Rican Farruko or the American Willie Colón will participate in the opening of the ceremony with their greatest hits, among which will highlight a tribute to the sounds of Panama, the organization said Tuesday in a statement.

Some of the songs that will be performed are ‘Ellos benia Dem bow’, by Nando Boom and Natti Natasha; ‘Señorita a mí me gusta su style’, by Los Rabanes; or ‘Ella’ by Boza, among others.

In addition, Natti Natasha will world premiere a new song and reveal the gender of her baby, the statement added.

This trio of artists joins those who had already been previously revealed to perform during the event, including Bad Gyal, Maluma, Morat and Lola Indigo, among others.

This year, artists Anitta, Beéle, Carín León, Emilia, Myke Towers, Netón Vega and Peso Pluma obtained the highest number of nominations with five each.

The new edition added eight new award categories, including Best Alternative Mexican Music Song, which recognizes fusions of traditional Mexican sounds with other styles; Best Pop/Rhythmic Song, for combinations of pop and electronic music; and Latin Afrobeat of the Year, which celebrates contributions to this emerging musical style.

Other new categories include #GettingReadyWith, which highlights content creators focused on fashion and beauty; Podcast of the Year; Stream Que Nos Pegó, which highlights viral series on social networks; #ModoAvión, for those who inspire people to explore the world; and POVFutbolero, which recognizes soccer fans who have turned their passion into viral content, reported Agencia EFE.
