In an unprecedented event, the NASCAR Mexico Series will come to Panama for the first time in its history as part of the official 2025 calendar. The race will be held on September 14 at the Circuito Internacional de Panama, located in La Chorrera, a few kilometers from Panama City.
This circuit, with more than 2.5 kilometers in length and multiple technical curves, was chosen for its modern infrastructure and its capacity to host major international events. The event will not only count towards the Mexican championship, but also represents the first step in the regional expansion of the series outside Mexico and the United States.
High level event

Jimmy Morales, president of NASCAR Mexico, confirmed that the competition will feature between 34 and 36 cars.
All with 400 horsepower V8 engines, which can reach speeds in excess of 150 mph (240 km/h).
“Panama has a challenging track that offers an exciting and technical spectacle. It is a historic opportunity for motorsport in the region,” Morales said during a press conference in Mexico City.
Morales also stressed that the objective is to bring motorsports closer to new markets in Latin America.
In addition, gauging the response of the Panamanian public will be key to future expansions.
A significant influx of fans from Central America and the U.S. Hispanic community is also expected to follow their favorite teams and drivers.
Latin representation

Mexico continues to have a strong presence in U.S. motorsports thanks to Daniel Suarez, driver of Trackhouse Racing, who currently competes in the NASCAR Cup Series.
Suárez is a reference for young talents and an example of Latin American potential in this sport.
