Germany’s Marco Reus led LA Galaxy to a 2-1 home win over Real Salt Lake on Sunday with a brace in the closing game of MLS Round 10.
Marco Reus, a former Borussia Dortmund player and LA Galaxy star since 2024, scored a wonderful free kick after eight minutes to give the Californian franchise, who had taken just one point from their previous two games, the lead.

The game got complicated for the Galaxy in first half stoppage time with an own goal by Angelino goalkeeper JT Marcinkowski.
It was six minutes from time when the LA Galaxy managed to regain the lead and they did it again through Marco Reus.
The 36-year-old veteran midfielder confidently converted a penalty with a cross-shot to make it 2-1.

The German has four goals and three assists so far this season.
The Galaxy caught up with the Houston Dynamo in ninth place in the West.
It is the last one that gives access to the postseason, while Real Salt Lake is sixth.
