As explained by prosecutor Jeanine Pirro, the images clearly show Allen firing in the direction of a security agent before being neutralized.
The authorities also ruled out that the incident was the result of “friendly fire”, reinforcing the official version that it was a direct attack.
The material released also includes scenes from the previous day, in which the accused appears to be loitering in the area of the event, which reinforces the hypothesis of premeditation.
How the attempted attack occurred

According to the prosecution, Allen managed to evade security checks and move quickly into the main area of the event.
The defendant allegedly circumvented the metal detector and ran into the main ballroom, where President Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, Vice President JD Vance and other senior officials were in attendance.
At that point, he opened fire with a shotgun, prompting an immediate response from Secret Service agents, who fired to neutralize him.
No casualties, but strong impact

Although the incident did not leave any people injured, the shots generated moments of panic among the attendees and forced the immediate evacuation of the authorities present.
The event brought together journalists, businessmen and diplomats, which elevated the seriousness of the incident to a national level.
Cole Allen, a 31-year-old California native, appeared in federal court for a brief hearing where he decided not to contest his pretrial detention.
He is currently facing charges of attempted murder of the president, in addition to offenses related to the use and transportation of weapons.
The prosecution has advanced that it plans to file additional charges, which could aggravate his legal situation.
Discussion of detention conditions

The defendant ‘s defense requested a modification of the conditions in which he is being held, since he remains in total isolation 24 hours a day.
However, the judge in charge of the case indicated that she has no authority to intervene in this aspect, so the measure remains in force.
The case continues to develop and could become one of the most relevant judicial proceedings of the year, in a highly sensitive political context in the United States.
