Colombian singer Shakira will have as special guests at the free mega-concert she will offer in Copacabana this Saturday, May 2, the brothers Caetano Veloso and Maria Bethania, two of the most representative voices of Brazilian Popular Music.
The surprise was revealed during the artist’s rehearsal this Friday night in front of thousands of fans who crowded around the stage to see a preview of the pop diva’s show.
With Caetano they will perform ‘O Leaozinho’, one of the Brazilian singer-songwriter’s most famous songs, and with Maria Bethania they will sing ‘O que é, o que é’, by Gonzaguinha, a song that exalts life and one of the most emblematic classics of the Brazilian repertoire.
Caetano, 83-year-old guitarist and singer-songwriter, and Maria Bethania, 79-year-old singer, guitarist and composer, will apparently not be the only guests of the Colombian singer, as the possible appearance of Anitta is gaining more and more strength.

Both artists recently released the song ‘Choka Choka’, Anitta has confirmed that she was invited to take the stage with the Colombian diva and a video rehearsing the song is rolling through the networks.
Ivete Sangalo is also emerging as another of Shakira’s possible guests in Rio, after the Brazilian rekindled speculation by sharing a video on social networks to welcome the Colombian artist.
Shakira will perform this Saturday in Rio what is expected to be the biggest show of her career, where she will show the world the power, joy and rhythm of Latin culture.
For the show that will close her world tour ‘Women Don’t Cry Anymore’, Rio de Janeiro authorities expect about two million spectators, but the expectation is that it will even surpass Lady Gaga’s audience last year (2.1 million).
Internationally known for hits such as ‘Hips don’t lie’, ‘Waka Waka’, ‘Pies Descalzos’ and ‘Chantaje’, reported Agencia EFE, Shakira has a special place in her heart for the South American country, one of the first that opened its doors to her in her musical beginnings.
