The second phase of ticket sales for the 2026 FIFA World Cup began Monday with a key opportunity for fans in the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

The FIFA organization has opened the registration period for the “Early Ticket Draw” from October 27 to 31, 2025, in which any fan over the age of 18 can register to be eligible for a randomly assigned set of tickets.

To register, you must create a “FIFA ID” at FIFA.com/tickets, and then enter your request indicating the matches, venues or packages you want, although the specific opponents for each match will not yet be known.

The selection will be made after the close of registration and the winners will receive an appointment to purchase between mid-November and early December 2025.

This phase is open to all supporters, regardless of whether they had a Visa card (in the first phase it was a requirement).

However, allocation will be by lottery, which means that registering does not guarantee purchase, only the possibility of accessing a purchase window.

In this second phase, residents of the host countries – USA, Mexico and Canada – have a special advantage. USA, Mexico and Canada – have a special advantage: they will receive the purchase schedules first before the other countries open, in recognition of their status as tournament hosts.

Prices have already been officially published: the cheapest tickets for the group stage start at US$ 60, while for the final the most premium category can reach up to US$ 6,730 before considering resale.

In addition, for the first time FIFA will apply dynamic pricing, which means that prices may go up (and possibly down) depending on demand.

For Hispanics living in the U.S., this process is especially relevant: attending the 2026 World Cup, held in the U.S., Mexico and Canada, is a unique opportunity to experience the event at home or nearby, but it requires planning. Here are some key points:

Early registration: Creating a FIFA ID now and scheduling your registration between October 27 and 31 is essential to participate in the sweepstakes phase.

Budget prepared: Although tickets are available from US$60, the most in-demand games may have much higher prices or costly resale; being financially and logistically ready is vital.

Flexibility of matches and venues: In this phase there is no choice of opponents or specific phase; therefore, if you are looking to see your national team or a star match, you will have to wait for the next phases or authorized resale.

Official purchase only on FIFA.com/tickets: Avoid unofficial sites or unauthorized resale, which can be risky.

The World Cup will be played from June 11 to July 19, 2026 in 16 cities in the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

This means that many U.S. Hispanics will have the advantage of traveling less or even attending from the country in which they reside.
