In 2026 there will be a landing of Marvel series -‘Wonder Man’, ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ or ‘VisionQuest’- and also literary adaptations, such as ‘East of Eden’ (John Steinbeck), ‘The Testaments’ (Margaret Atwood), ‘Pride and Prejudice’ (Jane Austen) or ‘The House of the Spirits’ (Isabel Allende).
All this without forgetting the new ‘Game of Thrones’ prequel, the third season of ‘Euphoria’, the second of ‘The Pitt’, the fourth of the ‘Bridgerton’, the fifth of ‘The Bear’, the second of ‘Your Friends & Neighbours’, the sixth of ‘Slow Horses’, the fifth and last of ‘The Boys’ or, without confirming that they will arrive this year, the fourth of ‘The White Lotus’ or the sixth of ‘Onlye Murders in the Building’. Euphoria – Season 3 (HBO Max, April 3)

Four years after its second season, the series picks up with Rue (Zendaya) south of the border in Mexico, in debt to Laurie (Martha Kelly) and trying to find innovative ways to pay it off, while Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (Jacob Elordi) live in the suburbs.
A highly successful fiction about a group of young people in a spiral of drugs, sex, drama, love and friendship.
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (HBO Max, January 18)

This Game of Thrones prequel arrives on January 19 and is set a century before the events of the original series.
Two unlikely heroes roamed Westeros… a naive but brave young knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg.
Set in a time when the Targaryen dynasty still occupies the Iron Throne.
VisionQuest (Disney+, no date)

VisionQuest, the Marvel Universe series that will close the Scarlet Witch and Vision and Agatha trilogy, will be released later this year.
Paul Bettany, as White Vision, and Elisabeth Olsen, as Scarlet Witch, and James Spader as the villain Ultron return. Little else is known about a highly anticipated series set to premiere in late 2026.
Wonder Man (Disney+, January 28)

Much earlier will be another of Marvel’s productions for this year, Wonder Man.
The story centers on the character of Simon Williams (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), an actor who dreams of making it in Hollywood and who, after a chance meeting with Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley), a veteran performer now in retirement, discovers that a remake of the superhero movie Wonder Man is in the works.
East of Eden (Netflix)
Florence Pugh, Christopher Abbott, Mike Faist, and Hoon Lee will star in Zoe Kazan’s adaptation of John Steinbeck’s East of Eden.

A seven-episode miniseries adapting one of the great classics of American literature by John Steinbeck, which already has several adaptations, including Elia Kazan’s popular 1955 film starring James Dean and Jilie Harris.
Now the project is produced by the director’s granddaughter, Elia Kazan, and stars Florence Pugh, promising a female take on the story.

Coming in April is this sequel to The Handmaid’s Tale, which adapts Margaret Atwood’s 2019 Booker Prize-winning novel set in the dystopian theocracy of Gilead.
A series that features Ann Dowd, Chase Infiniti, Lucy Halliday or Rowan Blanchard, about the passage to maturity in which a new generation of young women face the bleak future that awaits them.
The Pitt – Season 2 (HBO Max, January 9)

One of the most acclaimed series of 2025, with 5 Emmy Awards and 2 Golden Globe nominations, is one of the first to return in 2026 on January 9.
With Noah Wyle leading a cast that also includes Patrick Ball, Katherine LaNasa, Supriya Ganesh, Taylor Dearden and Isa Briones, it will continue to reflect in real time the work in a Pittsburgh hospital.

The fourth season of the Bridgerton saga will premiere in two parts – on January 19 and February 26 – and will star the bohemian second son of the family, Benedict (Luke Thompson), who is reluctant to settle down, until he meets a captivating Silver Lady at a masked ball, played by Yerin Ha.
The House of Spirits (Prime Video)
Prime Video announces ‘La casa de los espíritus’, an eight-episode Chilean series based on the book of the same name by Isabel Allende.

One of Isabel Allende’s best-known novels, which was made into a film in 1993 with Jeremy Irons and Meryl Streep, is now coming to the small screen with an eight-episode miniseries, filmed entirely in Chile and in which the author has been heavily involved.
Dolores Fonzi, Alfonso Herrera, Nicole Wallace, Juan Pablo Raba and Fernanda Castillo head the cast.

Based on the novel of the same name by Araminta Hall, this eight-episode thriller stars Elisabeth Moss; Kerry Washington and Kate Mara and explores a crime that shatters the lives of three women bound by a decades-long friendship.
