U.S. President Donald Trump and businessman Elon Musk publicly reunited Sunday at the funeral of Charlie Kirk, the ultraconservative activist killed on Sept. 10, nearly three months after their public confrontation.
During the broadcast of the funeral ceremony in honor of the young activist, held at State Farm Stadium in Arizona in front of more than 70,000 of Kirk’s supporters, cameras captured the moment when the Tesla owner and the president put aside their differences to talk and later shake hands.

Elon Musk was a key ally of Donald Trump during the election campaign.
After the elections, he was appointed head of the controversial Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), created with the aim of reducing public spending.
However, Elon Musk stepped down after a series of disagreements with the president’s tax plan.
Tensions between the two escalated in June with aggressive exchanges on social networks.
At one point Elon Musk posted a message on X claiming that federal authorities had additional information about Donald Trump in Jeffrey Epstein’s files and suggested that he should be put on trial, although he deleted the post shortly thereafter.
Trump will close Sunday’s event honoring Kirk, who died after being shot while giving a talk at Utah Valley University.
Charlie Kirk’s funeral was also attended by prominent Republican leaders who delivered eulogy speeches for the activist, who was killed on September 10 by Tyler Robinson.
Among them were Kirk’s vice president and close friend JD Vance, Secretary of Health Robert F. Kennedy Jr, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
