Almost two decades after his death, Valentín Elizalde is once again making a strong comeback on digital platforms thanks to the release of Vencedor, now in collaboration with Sinaloan singer and accordionist Edgardo Núñez. The song is part of the EP Un día como hoy, a project that pays tribute to the so-called “Gallo de Oro” and keeps his legacy in regional Mexican music alive.
The launch symbolically coincided with February 1, the date of birth of both artists, which added special significance to the presentation of the project.
