Puerto Rico’ s Yandel announced Wednesday that his concert ‘Sinfónico’ will come to Madrid in January next year, the first time this format that combines his greatest hits of urban music with a symphony orchestra is presented in Europe.
The promoter of the concert, which will take place on January 25, announced that the ‘Symphonic’ format, which the Puerto Rican artist premiered in Miami, “will cross the Atlantic for the first time to present it in a unique show”.
Dozens of musicians with string and wind arrangements typical of classical music will accompany the “legend” of reggaeton, who will offer the Spanish public some of his best-known songs, such as ‘Yandel 150’, ‘Rakata’, ‘Encantadora’ or ‘Ay Mi Dios’, with a production “of the highest level”, according to a statement.

Thus, Yandel remains a “pioneer” in the reggaeton genre, being the first urban artist to present a concert of his “greatest hits” accompanied by a symphonic orchestra, according to the promoter.
Yandel, also known for being part of the group Wisin & Yandel, has just received two nominations for the 2025 Latin Grammy Awards for his collaboration with compatriot Tego Calderón, ‘Reggaeton Malandro’, reported Agencia EFE.
