Although the Baton Rouge detainees are not of Latino origin, these types of operations serve as a reminder that ICE maintains active surveillance throughout the country.

For U.S. Hispanics, especially those who are immigrants, it is essential to know their rights, avoid suspicious work environments, and have access to reliable legal counsel.

ICE raids are not limited to people with criminal records, but can involve any undocumented worker if found at a site under investigation.

It is important to stay informed and exercise caution.
