Outside of the professional boxing spotlight, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez is the father of four children: Mia Ener, Maria Fernanda, Saul Adiel and his firstborn, Emily Cinnamon, who is currently 17 years old.
Although the Mexican boxer is recognized worldwide for his achievements in the ring, on a personal level he has always shown pride in the dedication and goals of his children.

Although Emily has been seen on several occasions in photo shoots and as a model, the young woman has made it clear that she does not want to devote herself fully to acting or modeling.
His true passion lies in sports, but not in boxing, the discipline that made his father famous, but in a completely different branch: horseback riding.
Emily has expressed that she acquired the values of the sport thanks to the closeness with her father, however, she decided to direct her efforts towards horses.
For more than seven years he has been practicing horseback riding constantly, which has allowed him not only to perfect his technique, but also to participate in various equestrian competitions in Mexico.
Is Canelo jealous of his daughter Emily?
In an interview with Despierta America, days before his fight, Canelo said it is more difficult to be father-in-law than world champion: “It’s a new feeling for me, I’ve been experiencing it, I think she already has a year and a half with her boyfriend, they are different feelings but I think it’s not so difficult when you put your trust in your daughter, who is very smart.
Although Emily has stated that her absolute priority is to consolidate a career as an equestrian athlete, she does not rule out other opportunities in the future.
In interviews she has indicated that, if she were presented with an interesting project related to acting or modeling, she would be open to consider it. However, she insists that her present and her energy are focused on achieving a high performance in the sport she loves.
