The 19-year-old Madrid native connected on two of his five shots from the field, hit a three-pointer, and also grabbed three offensive rebounds for Joe Mazzulla’s team.

The Boston Celtics have won three in a row after two losses to start a season without Jayson Tatum, who is out with an Achilles injury.

Jaylen Brown was Boston’s leading scorer with 32 points, supported by Anfernee Simons’ 19 coming off the bench.

The Boston Celtics built a 24-point lead in the second quarter, but eventually struggled in the face of Philadelphia’s comeback.

The 76ers fell for the first time this season after starting with four wins.

Tyrese Maxey’s 26 points and 14 assists and Joel Embiid’s 20 points were not enough for them.

The Boston Celtics are one of the most successful teams in NBA history.

Founded in 1946, they have won 18 championship titles, a figure that keeps them as one of the most successful franchises along with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Their first crown came in 1957, under the direction of Red Auerbach and with legends such as Bill Russell and Bob Cousy.

During the 1960s, the Boston Celtics dominated the league with 11 championships in 13 seasons, consolidating an unprecedented dynasty.

In the 1980s, the leadership of Larry Bird, Kevin McHale and Robert Parish brought back the glory with three more titles (1981, 1984 and 1986).

The team lifted the trophy again in 2008, led by the “Big Three” of Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen.

In 2024, the Boston Celtics won their 18th championship, reaffirming their legacy as a symbol of greatness in the NBA.
