The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) awards will take place on May 5 in Miami to honor this year’s most outstanding songwriters in Latin music.
The celebration will feature “music luminaries, award winners, songwriters, publishers and entertainment industry executives,” the association said Wednesday in a statement.
The 34th edition of the gala will honor the winners of the Latin Composer of the Year, Latin Artist of the Year, Latin Song of the Year and Latin Publisher of the Year categories.

ASCAP is the only not-for-profit membership and royalty organization in the United States and is comprised of more than one million songwriters, composers, authors and music publishers.
He also represents some of the world’s most talented music creators, such as Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, Bad Bunny and Romeo Santos.
Some of the winners at the last edition of the awards, reported Agencia EFE, were Mexican-American Xavi, Colombian Feid, Dani Raw and Daddy Yankee.
