Mexican singer Carlos Rivera presented this Thursday his new single “Sin despedida”, a ballad with mariachi that he performs in duet with Alejandro Fernandez.
The collaboration brings together two of the most representative voices in Spanish-language music and serves as a letter of introduction to their upcoming album.

The song was written entirely by Carlos Rivera and stands out for its emotional charge, as well as for the natural fusion of both artists’ styles. The release includes an official music video recorded in Guadalajara and directed by Nuno Gomes. The production includes the participation of actor Gabriel Agüero and model Priscila Valverde, who plays different characters that are part of the Mexican cultural imaginary within the visual universe that will accompany the album. The images highlight traditional elements, reinforcing the conceptual identity of the project.
“Vida Mexico”, the new chapter
The single is the first preview of Vida México, an album announced as the follow-up to the Vida… EP, released last October. With this new work, Rivera deepens in an artistic proposal that seeks to reconnect with the cultural roots of the country, integrating traditional sounds to his contemporary style.
This approach represents a natural evolution in his career, consolidating his interest in paying homage to Mexico through his music, without losing the romantic essence that has distinguished him since his beginnings.
The premiere of the song coincides with the preparation of his new tour, “¡Vida México Tour! The tour will kick off next May 9th at the emblematic Plaza de Toros Mexicoone of the most important venues in the country. Subsequently, the singer will travel to Spain to offer concerts between June and July in cities such as Pamplona, Valencia, Barcelona and Bilbao.
