Darrell Sheets, star of the TV series ‘Storage Wars’ (‘Who Gives More’), died at age 67 of a suspected suicide in Arizona, authorities said Wednesday.
According to a press release, officers from the Lake Havasu City (Mohave, Arizona) Police Department responded around 2:00 local time (9:00 GMT) to a report of a deceased person.
“Upon arrival, officers found a man presenting with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head,” reads the statement, picked up by Variety magazine.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and was later identified as Darrell Sheets by the Mohave County Medical Examiner.

According to authorities the incident remains under investigation.
Sheets, nicknamed ‘The Gambler,’ rose to fame on ‘Storage Wars,’ where he worked for 13 years. Finally, in 2023, he retired from the show and opened an antique store in Arizona called Havasu Show Me Your Junk.
The A&E channel program, still running, follows real professional buyers bidding on abandoned storage warehouses in the U.S. without knowing their contents.
In the state of California, if the rent for these spaces is not paid for three months, their contents may be sold at auction.
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Darrell ‘The Gambler’ Sheets, a beloved member of our ‘Storage Wars’ family. Our condolences to his family and loved ones at this difficult time,” said an A&E spokesperson in a statement to national media, reported Agencia EFE.
