Sinaloense singer Eden Muñoz, ex-vocalist of the group Calibre 50, announced this August 9, 2025 that he will have to postpone several dates of his tour in the United States.
The reason: an unexpected delay in the processing of his and his team’s work visa, despite the fact that the permit was already approved. This prevented them from entering the country and fulfilling their scheduled commitments.
Eden Muñoz’s visa

Since he began his solo career about four years ago, Muñoz has followed the standard administrative schedule for visas, which generally takes three to four weeks – a process he took advantage of to take a vacation in July.
This time, however, the procedure took longer than usual, forcing a difficult decision.
In a video shared on his social networks, he related with transparency: “I don’t like to give written communiqués, I prefer to give the face and the explanation as it is… I don’t want to dispose of their time or play with their plans.”
Rescheduled dates and a new album on the way

Among the concerts affected was one scheduled for August 22 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, which will now be rescheduled for December 5.
Muñoz assured that the tickets purchased will remain valid and that fans will receive e-mail notifications with the new dates.
To the community in the United States, he expressed sincere apologies: “A huge apology… I feel that things happen for a reason and that the day we see each other it will be with more pleasure.”
While the tour is being rescheduled, including additional performances in Mexico, Central and South America with the possibility of reaching the Andean region, Édén is preparing the release of her new album.
He anticipated it will arrive on August 28, which will allow him to maintain the enthusiasm and connection with his audience despite the setback.
Why does this affect the Hispanic community?

Reality of Latino artists: Like many Hispanics, Édén faces administrative hurdles that affect her work regardless of her success. This generates empathy and awareness of complex immigration procedures.
Emotional relationship with his fans: By explaining directly and taking responsibility, he strengthens that bond of honesty and respect with his audience, especially valued among U.S. Hispanics.
Constant musical excitement: Even if the tour is postponed, the announcement of a new album provides an emotional and cultural space to stay connected to their music, even from a distance.
Hemos pospuesto nuestra gira para el próximo año o para diciembre... Como les digo no está en nuestras manos, es algo que me encantaría poder solucionar, pero el tiempo pondrá las cosas en su lugar
‘Looks bad’ to the public because of the government
Édén Muñoz postponed part of his U.S. tour due to delays in his and his team’s work visa, despite being approved.
Dates such as Anaheim will be rescheduled for December, and tickets will still be valid.
In the meantime, he is preparing the release of his new album for the end of August.
This situation resonates with the Hispanic community in the U.S., which understands well the challenges of immigration, but also celebrates the commitment and closeness of those who maintain contact through art.
