HBO has confirmed that the acclaimed series ‘Euphoria’, which aired the final episode of its third season on Sunday, will definitively conclude with this installment, putting an end to a production that, since its premiere in 2019, has become one of the network’s biggest hits.
The fiction’s creator, Sam Levinson, announced the decision in an interview with a podcast of The New York Times, information that was later ratified by HBO, as noted by Variety.
The production, starring Zendaya, bids farewell after a seven-year run, three seasons and 26 episodes. The finale comes after several delays in the production of the last installment.
Euphoria lasted three seasons and catapulted the careers of Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney and Hunter Schafer.

Most of the cast, especially Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer or Jacob Elordi, have seen their careers launched to stardom thanks, in part, to the success of the series.
Prior to this official confirmation, Zendaya had already indicated in recent interviews that she hoped the third season would be the last, fueling speculation about the final denouement.
Euphoria’, based on the life of its creator -Sam Levinson- follows a group of high school students as they deal with drugs, sex, identity, trauma, social networks, love and friendship, reported Agencia EFE.
