The members of Grupo Frontera presented this Tuesday ‘Un solo corazón’, the only official song of the Mexican national soccer team for the upcoming 2026 World Cup to be held in Mexico, the United States and Canada, territories where the tricolor band will try to encourage their players and the millions of fans who will gather to watch the Tricolor.
“We thought of it for the national team, for the guys and the Mexican fans. We were with the Mexican national team players, they heard the song before it came out and they were dancing to it and seeing what it was about,” said vocalist Adelaido ‘Payo’ Solis in a chat with EFE minutes before the song’s unveiling at the Black Berry Auditorium in Mexico City.
The anthem that seeks to unite millions of Mexicans

The name of Grupo Frontera’s song is a statement of intent about what the teams that want to defeat Mexico in the World Cup will have to face starting on June 11.
Since there will not only be 26 players, but a whole town that “will fall into the houses with a carnita asada to watch all together (the games)”.
“More than 100 million Mexicans united, a single heart with which we all support the national team.”
The artist of this national creation, which will be available on the Amazon Music platform, said.
Grupo Frontera, composers of regional norteño music, is placed in the list of the 50 most listened artists in the world.
So ‘Un solo corazón’ promises to be a worldwide hit, especially in the United States and Spanish-speaking countries.
“We have always tried to bring people together with our music.”
“We are half Mexican, half American, but we know well that a Mexican is born where he/she wants to be born (…)”.

“All people who speak Spanish can understand, hear and feel these lyrics,” he said.
Among its fans is Israel Reyes, a Club America player and national team member.
Who – according to the members of the U.S. group with Mexican roots – is a “frustrated singer” who keeps performing his songs in the locker room showers.
A scene that, they say, is more common than it seems among soccer players.
“Football players are also frustrated musicians; they always have the illusion of living in the style of music.”
“We realized it since we started our career,” noted the band’s bassist Alberto ‘Beto’ Acosta.
Like the rest of his teammates, he confesses that at some point he dreamed of becoming a soccer player.

Un solo corazón’, Grupo Frontera’s song for Mexico, was presented at a private event attended by Amazon executives and former Mexican soccer player Pavel Pardo.
The international midfielder took part in the 2006 World Cup in Germany and was thrilled to see this competition again in his country after 40 years.
“The Mexican fans are the best in the world, the passion, the energy, what the fans do to go to the World Cup.”
“That connection that exists between the fans and the players. When you see the anthem, you see that passion that the fans give you and you receive it inside,” he explained about his experience.
After the ex-player’s intervention, the artists sang their new three-minute song and ended the event singing ‘No Capea’, one of their latest releases.
Lastly, Amazon Music’s head honcho, Paul Forat, announced that a music video for the track will be unveiled in two weeks.
Here you can listen to Grupo Frontera singing their new anthem along with Mexican national team players such as Raúl Jiménez and ‘Memo’ Ochoa.
