Colombian J Balvin confirmed this Sunday that he has reconciled with Puerto Rican Bad Bunny, whom he will go to see next weekend at the Super Bowl halftime show.

“We talked the other day. Super happy. I think he’s a man who is very mature, he knows what he wants,” Balvin told EFE during the red carpet of the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

The Colombian assured that next February 8 he will be in the audience at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara (California), where Bad Bunny will become the first solo Latin artist at halftime of the NFL finals.

“I’m going to go to see it. It’s going to be great,” he said.

The two reggaeton stars had been estranged for several years, with crossed hints, but publicly reconciled on stage last December 21, when Balvin appeared as a surprise guest at a Bad Bunny concert in Mexico City.

J Balvin is nominated at the Grammy Awards for best urban music album for ‘Mixtape’ and competes precisely with the Puerto Rican, with “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS”, and said he hopes “the best one” wins.

The Colombian was proud of the weight of Latin music in the global industry: “It is growing more and more. We are fighting for it to keep growing. What is happening with us, what is happening with Bad Bunny in the Super Bowl”, he exemplified.

Puerto Rican Rauw Alejandro, nominated for best Latin pop album for ‘Cosa Nostra’, also walked the carpet.

“At this point in my life, I think I have connected even more with my culture and the stories of my grandparents and our pioneers. Identity is something very important that I carry in my heart,” he said about the talent in Puerto Rico.

He was also proud of his compatriot Bad Bunny: “Benito is one of the best artists, we are family, we have the same last name. We are family, we have the same last name. He represents not only Puerto Rico but all Latinos around the world and I know he is going to tear up the Super Bowl,” he said.

Although he will not be able to be present at the soccer final, Rauw explained that he will watch it from home “with a beer and enjoy the night,” reported Agencia EFE.
