Colombia’ s Karol G will become the first Latin guest star at the Crazy Horse, one of Paris’ best-known cabarets, with a show to be performed from September 25 to 28.
Karol G will perform in the eight “exclusive” shows of those four days a series of custom-created numbers, including several of her songs from her new album Tropicoqueta, which was released on June 20, the Crazy Horse explained Monday in a statement.
The cabaret in the French capital, created in 1951, said that the Colombian singer and songwriter, “among the most influential in the world” and Grammy winner, will put her mark on a long list of guest stars who have passed through there, such as Dita Von Teese, Viktoria Modesta, Violet Chachki or Lisa de Blackpink.

“A leading figure in the global music industry, she will impose her powerful, feminine and bold aesthetic, in perfect resonance with the spirit of cabaret,” he said.
According to Andrée Deissenberg, the general manager in charge of creation and branding, Karol G “embodies a real ‘girl power'” and this “immediately brought her together” with the cabaret team, reported Agencia EFE.
“Finding Latin beats in Crazy Horse is something totally unprecedented in more than 70 years of history, but I didn’t hesitate for a second: I was seduced by its unique personality. In fact, Karol G was already fully Crazy Horse,” he added.
