The U.S. band Maroon 5 announced Thursday two dates to present an upcoming leg of its international tour ‘Love is like’ in Mexico, although the group led by vocalist Adam Levine is expected to offer more concerts for their Mexican fans.
The first concert will take place on September 30 at the Harp Helú Stadium in Mexico City, while the second will be in Monterrey (north) at the Borregos Stadium, according to the promoter Ocesa in a press release.
He also stated that tickets for the pre-sale of this tour will be available on Friday, May 29th starting at 9:00 local time (15:00 GMT).
Maroon 5 returns to the country after opening the Arena Mexico in Guadalajara (west) last year and will present the hits from their latest 13-track album ‘Love is Like’, which features a collaboration with U.S. rapper Lil Wayne as the title track.
Among the collaborations also highlights ‘Closer’, with Christopher Comstock, better known by his stage name Marshmello, as well as ‘I Like It’ which is highlighted by Sexyy Red’s rap.
According to Ocesa, this next stage will take the band, recognized for 2000s pop rock classics such as ‘This Love’ (2004) or more contemporary songs such as ‘Payphone’ (2012), to Latin America and Europe, with dates in Spain, France, the United Kingdom and Ireland.
In Latin America, reported Agencia EFE, there will be shows in Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
