The NFL officially announced its international schedule for the 2026 season and confirmed a historic campaign that will take regular season games to seven different countries. One of the most anticipated games will be the matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and the San Francisco 49ers, scheduled to be played in Mexico City during Week 11 of the regular season. The international season will kick off in Week 1 with a first-ever match in Australia.

This game will officially open the 2026 regular season and will represent the first time Australia will host an official NFL game.
