Most anticipated movies for 2026: The Odyssey, Toy Story 5, Dune 3 and more

Movies of 2026 will be full of powerful films.

After a 2025 dominated by children’s films, 2026 is expected to see the big return of superhero films – the new ‘Avengers’, ‘SpiderMan’ or ‘Supergirl’ – as well as the work of established filmmakers such as Christopher Nolan, Emerald Fennell, Greta Gerwig, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Pedro Almodóvar or Steven Spielberg.

Not to mention the new installments of ‘The Devil Wears Prada’, ‘Dune’ or ‘Toy Story’ and the jump to the cinema of ‘Mandalorian and Grogu’. These are the 15 most anticipated films of 2026:

The Odyssey

One of the most anticipated titles is the adaptation of ‘The Odyssey’ by Christopher Nolan and with Matt Damon as Odysseus in a spectacular cast that also includes Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Zendaya and Charlize Theron. We will have to wait until July 17 to see this film that has been shot entirely with Imax cameras (the first to do so).

The Devil Wears Prada 2

Ever since it was announced that there would be a sequel to the 2006 film that launched Anne Hathaway to stardom, fans have been going crazy. Mandalorian and Grogu

The hit series ‘The Mandalorian’, starring Pedro Pascal, will jump to the big screen with the Mandalorian and Grogu as the protagonists of a story of the ‘Star Wars’ saga in which Baby Yoda becomes more independent. Sigourney Weaver or Jeremy Allen White (as Rotta the Hutt, son of Jaba the Hutt) join a film scheduled for May 2026.

‘Wuthering Heights’.

British Emerald Fennell dazzled with the series ‘Killing Eve’ and with the film ‘Promising Young Woman’.
