When does the 2026-27 season start?

The 2026-27 NFL regular season will kick off on September 10, 2026 and run through January 10, 2027.
This season will maintain the format of 17 games per team spread over 18 weeks, with bye weeks for each franchise.
Following the conclusion of the regular season, the postseason will begin with the wild card round on January 16-18, 2027.
Followed by the divisional round on January 23 and 24, and the conference finals on January 31.
Super Bowl LXI: date and location

The grand finale of the season will be Super Bowl LXI, scheduled for February 14, 2027 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
This will be a key event for Latino fans, as each year the U.S. Hispanic audience represents a growing portion of the global audience that follows American soccer.
Super Bowl LXI will be broadcast in Spanish on NFL Network, ESPN Deportes and other platforms, making it easier for the Hispanic community to follow the game on television and streaming from any state.

NFL Draft 2026: dates, venue and what you need to know

Prior to the start of the new season, the 2026 NFL Draft will take place April 23-25, 2026 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Marking the first time this city has hosted the event since 1948.
