Australian actress Nicole Kidman and country singer Keith Urban reached a divorce settlement Tuesday, ending a 19-year marriage.
The couple agreed before a judge in Davidson County, Nashville, Tennessee, to waive all child support rights for daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15, in addition to spousal support, according to the lawsuit accessed by TMZ.
Each party will also be responsible for its own legal fees and expenses, while Kidman’s home will be the primary residence for the couple’s daughters, where they will spend 306 days a year, according to the agreement.
They also agreed that all major decisions regarding their daughters, including education and medical care, will be made jointly.
The American actress filed for divorce late last September in a Tennessee (USA) court, where she resided with Urban, citing irreconcilable differences.
This news was released a day after the U.S. press made public the couple’s breakup.
Kidman and Urban married in June 2006, a year after they met, after being introduced by Australian actor Geoffrey Rush at the G’Day LA gala.
Last June 25, Kidman shared a photo of herself embracing Urban on Instagram to commemorate their wedding anniversary.
Prior to Urban, the 2003 Oscar winner for ‘The Hours’ was married to Tom Cruise for 11 years. They divorced in 2001, reported Agencia EFE, a year that marked the end of one of Hollywood’s most famous relationships at the time.
