Ghostface is ready to spread terror once again. However, something has changed in the atmosphere surrounding Scream 7. Expectation is high, but so is uncertainty.

Scream 7: Horror lives a new youth

According to Williamson himself, this time the film will leave aside the classic analysis of horror tropes and clichés. The story’s centerpiece will be Sidney Prescottagain played by Neve Campbell. Her return had already generated excitement, especially after her absence in the previous installment available on Paramount+. It is now clear that her return is not just a nostalgic nod.
The plot will focus on the life of Sidney, his daughter and their family environment. Rather than reflecting on the state of contemporary horror cinema, the story will explore the emotional and personal consequences of having survived horror so many times.
