Renowned singer Taylor Swift has obtained a temporary restraining order against Brian Jason Wagner, a 45-year-old Colorado native who has been stalking her for years.
Wagner began sending her letters from prison alleging a romantic relationship and even claimed that Swift was the mother of his child, which obviously turns out not to be true.

In May 2025, Wagner showed up uninvited several times at the singer’s Los Angeles residence, lying to the security team and, on one occasion, carrying a glass bottle.
He had also attempted to gain access to his property in July 2024.
The harassment intensified when he changed his vehicle registration address to Swift’s home address and sent threatening e-mails to his staff.
What does the court order state?
The court order states that Wagner must stay at least 100 yards (approximately 91 meters) away from the artist and her property until June 30, while its possible permanent extension is being evaluated.
Swift expressed her fear for her safety and that of her family, emphasizing that she has never had contact with Wagner and that his claims are completely false and disconnected from reality.
