U.S. President Donald Trump oversees with his national security team the large-scale strike against Iran launched Saturday by the United States and Israel from his private Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.
White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt reported that Trump has been monitoring the operation, dubbed “Epic Fury” by the U.S., all night and had a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “The president and his national security team will continue to closely monitor the situation throughout the day,” Leavitt stated.

It was from Mar-a-Lago, where Trump usually spends his weekends, that the Republican offered the video message in the early hours of the morning, through his Truth Social network, in which he announced the launch of the attack on Iran, whose ultimate goal is the fall of the regime.
According to official sources, Secretary of State Marco Rubio notified seven of the eight members of the so-called Group of Eight of the attack in advance.
The Republican and Democratic leaders of the House of Representatives and the Senate are part of the committee.
The Pentagon also reported the operation to the Congressional Armed Services Committee once the bombing was underway.
