With symbols of Mexican culture and textile technology, the tailored suit that the Mexican National Team will wear during the 2026 World Cup was presented this Tuesday in Guadalajara, during the inauguration of the Volvo Fashion Week that will take place in this city until April 17.
The attire consists of a jacket embroidered with the national team’s coat of arms in dark colors on the left pocket, a pair of pants and a green tie with details alluding to pre-Hispanic cultures and the passion of soccer.
Calderoni presents tailor-made suit for Mexican National Team
In a brief runway show held in the main hall of the bicentennial Teatro Degollado, the Italian brand Calderoni unveiled the closet designed in collaboration with the Mexican Football Federation.
It will be used during travel and upon arrival at the concentration hotels by players, coaching staff and managers.
Calderoni’s marketing director, Jeannette Haber, told EFE that each Mexican national team suit will be custom-made.
Therefore, the measurements of each player who has been called up for the friendly games have already been taken in order to start preparing them when the definitive list of selected players is known.

“We had to take measurements of all the players.”
“It was hard work and very difficult because they are not all in the same city or in the same country”.
“There are few moments when they are all focused together,” he said.
He detailed that the Mexican National Team’s suit is made with an Italian fabric with special characteristics.
These allow it to fit comfortably to the body, in addition to technology that makes the half-lining light and cool, given that it will be used in the Mexican summer.
The jacket is full of details, as inside it will be embroidered with phrases of encouragement to the players and the coaching staff, while on the inside of the collar you can read the phrase “We are Mexico”.

Guadalajara, a key scenario
Haber stated that they decided to unveil the Mexican National Team’s suit in Guadalajara, one of the 16 venues for the 2026 World Cup.
Because it is one of the cities that most represents Mexican culture and Fashion Week is an ideal platform for it.
“Guadalajara is a very important city in Mexico”.
“As they said, many of the best-known symbols in the world of Mexico are from here and what better platform than Fashion Week to do so,” he said.
Calderoni also presented three sportswear designs inspired by the colors of the Mexican National Team with the words “Alma. Game. Legacy.
Although they will not be worn by the players, they are part of the special collection for the World Cup.
Mexico will host the 2026 World Cup, along with the United States and Canada.
